Outcastes: Will’s 1980s Novel

On this special episode, Will introduces us to some of the themes that are covered in his 1980s novel and will be topics for future podcast episodes. The novel, which is called “Outcastes,” follows a teenage Indian immigrant in the early 1980s, who uses hip-hop to cope with the loss of his mother.

Next week, the trio returns to discuss some of the controversial songs from the 1980s.
